Smart Hack | Necklace Extender

Tuesday of this week, I decided to wear all black. What can I say, I just returned home from the Memorial Day Holiday and clothes were literally scattered everywhere when I woke up. Am I the only person that doesn't always have time to unpack?

Besides, you simply CAN'T go wrong with a LBD (Little Black Dress). (*wink*)

So...I slapped on my go to LBD, my favorite peep toe Guess pumps and was ready to tackle the day. Wait!!! I needed jewelry. I always wear jewelry. ALWAYS!!!

So, I grabbed some pieces I rarely wear (but love) and ran out the door. Just a little pop of color to make the outfit standout.

Shout out to all the people like me, that finish getting dressed on the way to work.

To my surprise, my necklace looked more like a chocker than the look I needed. What's a girl to do?

Well, I improvised by using something I already had at my disposal. Paper clips!

Here is what I did...

1. Grab a hand full of paper clips.

2. Connect them in a chain-like fashion.

3. Loop one paper clip into the last link on the necklace chain.

4. Fasten the necklace into the last loop of the paper clip link chain.

That's it! And to think I was going to run out during lunch and pick up a necklace extender for about 6 bucks! Hope this inexpensive hack helps someone else!
